Cori Puncho Drilling Intercepts 26 Meters of 2.14 g/t Gold

June 15, 2006

ROMARCO MINERALS INC. ("TSXV: R" - the "Company") and New Dimension Resources Ltd. (TSXV:NDR) report the results of a Phase I drill program recently completed at the Cori Puncho Project in southern Peru. The program, designed as a first drill test of the project, is highlighted by the results from Hole CP-4 which returned 2.143 g/t gold over 26 metres. Complete results are noted below:

The joint venture's property position covers the majority of a five kilometer long regional structure comprised of steeply easterly dipping volcanics and sediments mineralized with pyrite and specular hematite. Exploration to date has been concentrated on CP Hill in the southern part of the project where local miners have been excavating irregular zones of fracturing and brecciation containing significant gold values. No drilling has previously been conducted in this area.

Ten holes totaling 1020 metres were completed in early May. The seven holes noted above tested the Main Shear Zone on CP Hill over a strike length of 250 metres and a vertical range of 100 metres and confirmed a consistently gold mineralized system with a width in the order of 25 metres and an average gold grade of 0.738 g/t.

Two other holes were completed to the north of the Main Shear to test an overburden covered area and returned no noteworthy values. One hole tested a breccia zone east of the Main Shear and returned no significant gold values.

Numerous exploration targets exist on the property and the joint venture is currently assessing the next phase of exploration.

Cori Puncho is logistically well located within 15 kilometers of a paved highway and power grid and only a 1.5 hour drive from the large community of Juliaca. The equal joint venture between NDR and Romarco is operated by NDR through Camino Ventures S.A.C., its Lima based subsidiary. Drill cuttings were sampled on two metre intervals and direct shipped to ALS Chemex's sample prep facility in Arequipa. The prepared pulps were then transported to their main laboratory in Lima for gold analysis. Assaying was by standard fire assay techniques using a 30 gram charge with atomic absorption finish. Duplicate samples were prepared for ten percent of the drilling and sent to SEG Laboratories in Lima for comparison. The project is under the supervision of Mr. Thomas H. Burkhart, Vice President, Exploration for NDR, who is a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101.

Romarco also announces the outcome of its annual and special shareholders meeting held on June 14, 2006.

Romarco shareholders approved Management's nominations for directors. Elected were incumbent directors David Beling, Diane Garrett, Leendert Krol, R.J. (Don) MacDonald, Robert van Doorn and Edward van Ginkel as well as new nominee Patrick Michaels.

Romarco is also pleased to announce that it has completed its continuance of the Company to British Columbia. Shareholders originally approved the change to British Columbia at Romarco's shareholders' meeting held in June 2005, however this process was put on hold while the Company proceeded with its planned merger during the second half of 2005 and early 2006. Upon termination of the planned merger in February 2006, the Company restarted the process to change jurisdictions to British Columbia. Management of Romarco believes that in order for the Company to accomplish its objectives most effectively, the Company will be better served in the British Columbia jurisdiction.
